Let's talk about lashes for a minute. False lashes, that is. I'm not one to wear falsies on a daily basis. Far from it, actually. But for special events they are a must for me. I also prefer that my girls (brides, bridesmaids, models, etc.) wear them because lord knows they make a world of difference in photo's.
I've tried multiple brands (MAC, Sephora, Ardell, Red Cherry) and Velour Lashes came out the clear winner. PLEASE NOTE: the lashes I'm about to review are NOT the same as the Velour Lashes sold in Sephora stores. Same brand, but those lashes are silk. Not to discredit those ones (yet?), I just haven't compared them to Velour's Mink lashes.
Oops! Naughty Me lashes are, to put it simply, fantastic! As previously mentioned, these are made with Mink hair. At the shortest point the lashes are 6mm long and at the longest point they are 14mm long. Side note: The length of this style is now customizable! They are longest in the middle of the strip, rather than on the outter corners. Because of that, I would say they seem somewhat natural (let's be honest, they are falsies so what I really mean by "natural" is that you won't look like a drag queen) when it comes to length, but they still add plenty of volume.
These lashes are long lasting if you properly care for them. Technically I've had this pair for over a year now, but again, I 100% do not wear them on a regular basis.
If you're in need of some false lashes that you don't plan to have a one-night-stand with, give these (or at least this brand) a shot. Free shipping over $45 kind of screws you into buying more than one pair if you refuse to pay for those charges, otherwise it's $4 shipping no matter where you live.
