Supporting Local Women's Shelters

59% of Ontario women who are assaulted by their spouses and have children say that their children saw or heard the abuse.

In the span of 1 year, there were 31,000 admissions of women and children to Ontario shelters for abused women.

Please imagine for a moment that you were one of those women. Or maybe your sister. Or your neighbour. Or your desk-buddy at work. Your daughter. Your mother. Your favourite barista. Or your hairstylist.

With International Women's Day just a couple of months away, I'm asking that my friends, family and amazing clients will help me in my efforts to raise funds for the shelters where these brave women go to seek freedom and a fresh start. Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region - Anselma House and Haven House.

For every $500 that is raised, I will draw one name (from those who have donated) to win a FREE makeup application.

- $15 minimum = 1 entry

- $25 minimum = 2 entries

- $50 minimum = 5 entries

- $100 donated by a local entrepreneur or on behalf of a company, will be formally recognized on my Facebook page and will receive 10 entries

There is NO limit on the number of times a person can donate.

Receipts for tax purposes are available through Canadahelps.org, as this is a charitable donation with 100% of the proceeds going to the WCSWR.

All draws will take place and be announced on March 8th, 2018 (International Women's Day).
