For someone who went to school for all types of makeup (beauty, film, special effects, etc.), it's not often that I get to practice my full range of skills.
I had forgotten how much fun I have making injuries from scratch and applying them. Hours of sitting quietly, sculpting the pieces and making them as realistic as I know how to.
However, the application process was a little trickier than anticipated. Turns out blending edges when you can only see out of one eye isn't all it's cracked up to be...
Nonethless, shoutout to Halloween for giving me a reason to brush up on my semi-forgotten talent.
